Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.38%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.38%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 4.31% or 93.0 points to trade at 2252.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 4.09% or 9.0 points to end at 228.9 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 4.09% or 44.0 points to 1120.0 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which fell 0.55% or 2.3 points to trade at 414.6 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) declined 0.31% or 2.2 points to end at 714.8 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) was down 0.19% or 1 points to 637.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 43 and 24 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.39% or 0.56 to $40.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.06% or 0.46 to hit $43.98 a barrel, while the October Gold Futures contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1973.90 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.29% to 6.3410, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4467.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 93.648.
