Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Frankfurt, the gained 0.37% to hit a new 52-week high, while the index added 0.45%, and the index gained 0.32%.

(DE:) added 2.40% or 2.98 points to end at 127.12 and Volkswagen AG VZO O.N. (DE:) was up 2.18% or 3.76 points to 176.12 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Covestro AG (DE:), which fell 2.89% or 1.350 points to trade at 45.340 at the close. Henkel & Co KGaA AG Pref (DE:) declined 1.93% or 1.78 points to end at 90.52 and BASF SE NA O.N. (DE:) was down 0.89% or 0.630 points to 69.990.
The top performers on the MDAX were Fuchs Petrolub AG VZO Pref (DE:) which rose 3.16% to 35.240, K+S AG NA O.N. (DE:) which was up 3.03% to settle at 13.255 and Nemetschek AG O.N. (DE:) which gained 2.98% to close at 47.000.
The worst performers were Morphosys AG O.N. (DE:) which was down 4.28% to 97.2500 in late trade, Telefonica Deutschland Holding AG (DE:) which lost 1.86% to settle at 2.843 and Metro Wholesale & Food Specialist AG (DE:) which was down 1.76% to 14.2700 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were SLM Solutions Group AG (DE:) which rose 6.15% to 15.20, Isra Vision O.N. (DE:) which was up 5.12% to settle at 42.28 and Nemetschek AG O.N. (DE:) which gained 2.98% to close at 47.000.
The worst performers were Morphosys AG O.N. (DE:) which was down 4.28% to 97.250 in late trade, Aixtron SE NA O.N. (DE:) which lost 3.34% to settle at 8.6140 and Telefonica Deutschland Holding AG (DE:) which was down 1.86% to 2.843 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 428 to 258 and 74 ended unchanged.
Shares in Volkswagen AG VZO O.N. (DE:) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.18% or 3.76 to 176.12. Shares in Isra Vision O.N. (DE:) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 5.12% or 2.06 to 42.28.

Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.71% or 10.75 to $1494.55 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 1.64% or 0.93 to hit $55.73 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 1.39% or 0.86 to trade at $61.16 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.18% to 1.1098, while EUR/GBP fell 0.10% to 0.8629.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 97.523.
