France’s Air Liquide S.A. said Thursday that revenue in its third quarter rose 3.5% as it backed its full-year outlook.
The supplier of industrial gasses AI, +0.78% said that quarterly revenue totaled 5.45 billion euros ($6.06 billion). Growth was driven by a positive performance in its gas and service activities, which represent the large majority of the business, as well as its global markets and technologies division.
“Positive currency and significant scope impacts offset lower energy prices,” it said.
In the first nine months of the year, Air Liquide said that its efficiency program delivered EUR310 million in savings.
The company said that if conditions remain stable, it is confident in delivering net profit growth at constant currencies in 2019.
